ATAC Provides Commercial Air Services Supporting Airborne Fighter Requirements for DoD
Mr. Matt Bannon, ATAC Director of Marketing
(August 26, 2014) –
ATAC (Airborne Tactical Advantage Company), the U.S. leader in outsourced tactical airborne services for over 18 years congratulates Mr. John "Market" Burch on his unprecedented achievement in accumulating over 2,000 flight hours flying the F-21 Kfir. ATAC is the only non-military organization flying the F-21 Kfir which was originally built by Israel Aircraft Industries for the Israeli Air Force. Besides ATAC, the Kfir is flown by Colombia, Ecuador and Sri Lanka, and of all these operators Mr. Burch is the only pilot ever to break the 2,000 hour mark. John was initially trained by Israel Aircraft Industries in a Kfir two-seat trainer in 2002 and has flown over 1,900 sorties in multiple aircraft while at ATAC, all in support of US military training. Prior to joining ATAC, CAPT. John Burch (ret) began as a Naval Aviator flying the F-8, F-4 and F-14, commanding fighter squadron VFA-31, and accumulating over 1,000 arrested landings on aircraft carriers.
