Admiral Timothy J. Keating, USN (Ret) Joins ATAC Board of Directors
Retired Admiral Timothy Keating has joined the Board of Directors at ATAC, the US leader in outsourced tactical aviation services. During his Navy career, Admiral Keating served as commander of Carrier Group Five, the U.S. 5th Fleet, the U.S. Northern Command and NORAD, and U.S. Pacific Command retiring in 2009 after over 38 years of service. Admiral Keating will work with other senior military leaders on the board such as General Gregory "Speedy" Martin, USAF (Ret) to continue ATAC's development in tactical aviation training. For over 25 years, the US Navy has increasingly relied on outsourced augmentation of their airborne training and readiness programs to provide tactical training to naval ship and air crews in place of front-line military assets. Saving an estimated $100 million per year while preserving hundreds of flight years on F/A-18's, ATAC has become an indispensable part of Naval Fleet training and readiness. ADM Keating joins ATAC after recent award of the US Navy 5-year next generation contract to provide approximately 1.5 times the flight hour equivalent of the average Navy fighter squadron in training services to Navy warfighters.
